The hospital where I delivered was not very helpful with breast feeding. I met with the lactation consultant there and even took my newborn back to the hospital a few times for help. I just couldn’t get it and I quickly gave up.
When baby #2 was born, I was ready to try again. He was much stronger and healthier than my first and seemed willing. After coming home, nursing him was becoming so painful that I didn’t think I could continue. I mentioned this to a neighbor who suggested I call you. I was hesitant at first, but knew I’d never be able to continue if I didn’t. I’m so glad I called. You could tell right away that he had a bad latch. With only a couple of visits, you fixed his latch and provided many other options for the pain I was experiencing.
Thanks to you, baby #2 was breast feeding well into toddler-hood. Now baby #3 is doing the same. We can’t thank you enough!
